With the opening of the Fine Dining Restaurant Blaikie at Schloss Dyke, the Meerbusch premium caterer, Georg Broich, together with the French Chef de Cuisine, Christian Willrich, fulfilled a long-awaited dream. The restaurant is surrounded by the impressive castle grounds and restaurant guests will find here a true oasis of superlative enjoyment. The tasteful atmosphere exudes a touch of luxury and sets a new standard in the culinary arts of the Lower Rhine area. At the same time, the fine à la carte Restaurant is a starting point for romantic strolls enjoying the beauty of nature in the castle grounds.

The gourmet restaurant is named after the Scottish landscape gardener, Thomas Blaikie, one of the greatest in his field in the 19th century, who designed the "English" landscaped garden at Schloss Dyck, which is known throughout Europe. Nostalgia, tradition and classical cuisine form a perfect combination in the Fine Dining Restaurant Blaikie. The classically elegant rooms make a visit to Blaikie a memorable experience for every occasion, whether it's a romantic candlelit dinner or an official business meeting. The small, fine restaurant has space for 34 guests, who can enjoy a varied gastronomic treat of the highest quality. Chef de Cuisine Christian Willrich has worked in many international top-notch restaurants and has furthermore written a large number of cookery books. For the past 16 years, he has served as Chef de Cuisine for Broich Premium Catering, creating gastronomic feasts for every occasion.

Opening times of Blaikie:
During the season, the terrace is open at weekends from 12 am to 10 pm.
The restaurant is open from Wednesday till Sunday from 6 pm to 12 pm.
